Charity and Fundraising
The Ship Pub regularly host fundraising events for various local charities including: The S.A.M Fund (Smiles and Memories), Saint Francis Hospice , London Air Ambulance and Guide Dogs for the Blind. All of the proceeds raised from our popular Thursday Pub Quiz is donated to Saint Francis Hospice.
Raised to date for Saint Francis Hospice
Located just up the road to us in Havering-atte-Bower, Romford, Saint Francis Hospice is an independent charity and one of the largest adult hospices in the UK. They provide care and support to individuals with a life-limiting illness, as well as their carers and family members.

Raised to date for Smiles and Memories
The Smiles and Memories (S.A.M) Fund is a not for profit charity raising funds to provide chronically sick or disabled children with a chance to spend quality time with their families on an all expenses paid holiday of a life time. All donations go towards helping these families to forget their troubles and enjoy a special holiday together, to help them face the future, whatever that may bring.
